Shandong Film and Television Media International
Shandong Film & TV Media Group, established in 1986, is one of the earliest film & TV companies and today has become one of the most influential and successful production companies in China. To date, it has produced over 5000 (episodes) films, TV series and documentaries, including the most well-known TV series “Nirvana in Fire”, “The Disguiser”, “Ode to Joy”, and 3D film “Monkey King: Hero is Back” in 2015 that broke China’s animation box office record.
In addition to film & TV production and distribution, the company is engaged in broadcasting, advertising, publications, cinema chain, interactive games, large-scale cultural exhibitions, industrial parks, and children’s theme parks. In 2008, the company co-founded a film school with Shandong University of the Arts (SDUA). The film school is intended to train the next-generation filmmakers, combining SDUA’s 60 years of history with SDFTVMG’s 40-year-old heritage.
Shandong Film & TV Media International (SDFTMI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Film & TV Productions Co. Ltd., incorporated in California in early 2018. SDFTMI is dedicated to increasing the parent company’s existing competitiveness, to collaborate with the best content creators to produce film, TV, and documentary for the global market, and to expand other businesses abroad.
Interns will help with creative tasks:
- script reading and writing coverages
- conducting researches
- preparing marketing materials
- supporting executive assistant
- mature, professional, detail-oriented, resourceful, has strong communication and computer skills;
- multi-tasking, with the ability to prioritize projects;
- major in English literature /Marketing/ Screenwriting is preferred;
- A strong interest in Film & TV
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a related degree program and receive school credit. This internship is unpaid. Mileage/Uber and meals reimbursement will be provided. Interns must be available at least 1 day a week from 10:00am-6:00 pm. The office is located in Beverly Hills.
